Online Library Services
You can search Bentley Memorial Library's card catalog, check your patron record, place or remove holds on items, request an interlibrary loan, and find and print articles from a wide variety of periodicals from home.
SEARCH THE CARD CATALOG
- Go to the Bentley Memorial Library Card Catalog page: http://bibcat2.biblio.org/ipac20/ipac.jsp?profile=bolton. (Bookmark this page for future reference.)
- Type in an author, title or subject in the box provided and click on "Search."
- Choose the desired title from the search results list.
- If the item status is "Checked Out," you may place a hold on it from home by choosing the "Request Item" button and following the instructions. If the item status is "Checked In," you may call the library (646-7349) or e-mail us (Bentley@biblio.org) and ask that the item be held for you.
CHECK YOUR PATRON RECORD

- Choose the "My Account" tab from the choices at the top of the page.
- Enter your 14-digit library card barcode number--no spaces--and click "Login."
- On the ACCOUNT OVERVIEW page, choose any of the categories shown for more information about your account.
REQUEST AN INTERLIBRARY LOAN
- Go to iCONN's home page: www.iconn.org.
- Enter your 14-digit library card barcode number (no spaces) and click "Login."
- Enter search term in box (title, author, subject, etc.) or choose "Advanced Search" button from top menu bar to narrow your search.
- Choose "reQuest Statewide Library Catalog" by clicking on the number in the results column.
- Choose desired item from Title List.
- Choose the "Request This Item" box in top right corner of the Item Display.
- Fill in the ILL Request Form and click on the Submit button (top menu bar) to initiate request.
SEARCH PERIODICAL DATABASES
You can search and print articles at home from a number of collections aimed at audiences from elementary school students to professionals. Some highlights: full-text journals, maps, almanacs; full-text bilingual periodicals; Business and Company Resource Center; Health & Wellness Resource Center; Wilson Biographies Plus; HeritageQuest Online; AP Photo Archive; newspaper collection with full-text coverage of The Christian Science Monitor , The Hartford Courant, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.
- Go to iCONN's home page: www.iconn.org.
- Enter your 14-digit library card barcode number (no spaces) and click "Login."
- Enter search term in box or choose "Advanced Search" button from top menu bar to narrow your search.
- Choose a database (Magazines & Journals, Newspapers, etc.).
- Choose "Show Only Full Text" option if you want to read the entire article online or print it from home.
