Policies
Loan Periods / Renewals
The standard loan period for library items is: Consumer Shelf items, three days; videos & DVDs, one week; books, magazines and music, three weeks; museum passes, two days. Reference material does not circulate. An item may be renewed once if no one is waiting for it. You may renew over the phone if you call before the item is overdue.

The library grants one "day of grace" for overdue items. After that, the late fees are: videos & DVDs, $1/day up to a maximum of $5; all other items, 10 cents/day up to a maximum of $2 ($1 for magazines). A patron's borrowing privileges are suspended when an item is three weeks overdue or when unpaid fines on an account exceed $5.
