The purpose of the BAA is to support and promote the education vision, mission and goals of the Bolton public school system through philanthropic endeavors.

Any person who attended the one room school houses in Bolton; those who went to Bolton Elementary School and graduated from Manchester High before 1967; those who attended Bolton Junior Senior High School and those who graduated from Bolton High School and any faculty or staff person from any of these schools is eligible to join.

The Bolton Booster Club is an organization that supports Bolton Youth Athletics. It is open to anyone in Bolton.

Membership is $25 a year, which runs from September through August. Lifetime memberships are also available.

Meetings are held once a month.

The Bolton Democratic Town Committee meets regularly on the first Wednesday of the month at the Notch Road Municipal Center at 7:30 p.m. All Bolton Democrats are welcome to attend meetings.

The meetings are a great opportunity to get involved in Bolton's political process, hear about and have an impact upon, local issues affecting you and your family.

Bolton Garden Club

The Garden Club is currently accepting new members. Current members range from beginners to experienced gardeners but all are eager to learn more about gardening by sharing their ideas, talking about gardening, hosting guests lecturers and taking field trips to garden centers or garden tours.

Anyone who has an interest in the history of Bolton may join. The Society is dedicated to preserving Bolton's rich historic past from its founding in 1720 to the 21st century. The society annually awards the Evelyn W. Halloran Memorial Scholarship and recently helped erect a Veterans Monument and Honor Roll on the Bolton green.

Annual Dues: $15

Bolton Lake Sailing Club

Any Sunfish sailor is invited to sail with the Bolton Lake Sailing Club in their club series. Any level of experience is welcome. Members are willing to help anyone learn more about racing, strategies and tactics and rules.

The season runs from the last Sunday in April through the last Sunday in June.

The mission of the Land Trust is to help maintain and improve the quality of life in the Bolton area. The Land Trust has preserved three parcels totalling 50 acres including 25 acres along the Blackledge River corridor. Landowners who would like to set up a confidential meeting to discuss preservation options for their land may call Gwen Marrion at 643-9302. They continually seek more land to preserve.

Membership is open to anyone. Dues are as follows:
    Student or Senior Citizen (55 or older): $15
    Individual: $25
    Family: $35
    Corporate/Business: $100

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with clubs around the world. The Bolton Lion's Club's list of accomplishments include:
    -The first audiometer for the Bolton School system
    -The founding of the Bolton 5-mile road race
    -Partial funding of the Little League ball field fence at Indian Notch Park
    -The Fall Festival at Indian Notch park
    -Free hayrides for Bolton's children at the annual Women's Club Halloween party
    -Funding for the Fidelco Guide Dog program
    -Vision care and eyeglasses for local residents in need
    -Recycling of hearing aids for the hearing impaired
    -Funding of 2 scholarships for Bolton students
The list goes on and on and will continue to grow as long as there are people in need.

Open to all registered Republicans in Bolton, the Bolton Republicans work to find new political leaders and to support the Republican community. Major functions are as follows: help to recruit and elect political leaders; act as a liaison between elected officials and the constituency; communicate with the public; coordinate with state and federal political organizations; recruit individuals to serve on the Town Committee; raise money for political activities.

The Bolton Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to coordinate the accumulation and distribution of money for the further education of Bolton High School graduates and/or Bolton residents.

To be considered for a scholarship award, students must submit an official application. Forms are available at the high school in December and must be completed and returned by late April (specific date on current year's application).

Bolton Seniors

The purpose of the Bolton Senior Center is to provide educational, health and social services for seniors and disabled residents of the community; to preserve and enhance the emotional and physical well being of senior residents; and to encourage and develop volunteer participation in community services by senior citizens.

Activities include craft classes, games, exercise, luncheons, transportation to supermarkets, concerts, dinners, special guest speakers and more.

Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 9-4; Fri. 9-3.

The Women's Auxiliary exists to help the firemen in any way they can. Fundraisers are held to purchase items wanted from the fire department's wish list. This list consists of items not provided by the town.

Annual Events include: Easter bake sale, Breakfast with Santa Claus, Ice Cream Social and more.

The Bolton Women's Club is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, nonpartisan and interracial organization dedicated to community, civic, cultural, educational and social growth. The BWC seeks to enrich and improve both themselves and their community through educational, cultural, and social forums. They serve the community through volunteerism and donations while making new friends and having fun at the same time.

Annual events include: Candlelight Auction (largest fundraising event of the year), Children's Halloween party, Seniors Luncheon and many others.

The Bolton Youth Baseball Association was founded as an all-volunteer organization to provide baseball and programs for the youth of Bolton (ages 5-15). The purpose of BYBA is to:
    -Foster the physical, mental, emotional growth of the youth of the community
    -Develop an understanding and appreciation of sportsmanship and fair play
    -Teach the fundamentals of baseball through qualified supervisors
    -Provide worthwhile recreational activities to youths that may otherwise be denied the opportunity to participate in an organized baseball program
    -Promote a spirt of self-reliance along with the spirit of teamwork

The Bolton Youth Basketball Board was founded as an all-volunteer organization by Tracy Sargent, Town Of Bolton Recreation Director, to provide basketball programs for the youth of Bolton (Grades K thru 12).

Bolton Youth Basketball strives to provide opportunities for personal growth and development of young athletes while also reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to excel on and off the court. Bolton Youth Basketball is dedicated to educate and motivate each participant while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship and fun through the spirit of basketball. We will strive to provide the best competition at all levels while maintaining the highest degree of participation and sportsmanship. Bolton Youth Basketball offers a recreational program to encourage all levels of participation for grades K thru 12 and a more competitive travel program to supplement the rec program for kids in grades 5 thru 8.

The Cub Scouts of Bolton gives a boy a chance to develop friendships and have fun while learning a variety of life skills.

The Friends of the Rose Farm donate their time, talent and financial contributions to preserve this place of stunning natural, scenic and historic significance. The group is currently working toward: (1) completion of a public trail with signage; (2) grounds cleanup; (3) control of invasive plants; (4) barn maintenance; (5) field reclamation.
