Bolton Community News
A publication by and for the residents of Bolton, Connecticut

2008 will be our 10th season (wow) of summer concerts at the gazebo. They will once again be held on Wednesday evenings and I hope that you can join us at one or all of the shows. If your company is interested in becoming a sponsor please contact the Recreation Department. Sponsorship ($400) entitles your company to have its name listed in future issues of the Bolton Community News, fliers, and on a banner to be hung at the gazebo for the entire summer. Thank you ahead of time for your support!
Our first sponsors for 2008 are on-board. A big thank you to: Highland Park Market, Landie Construction Inc., Simoniz USA Inc., Larry Fiano Builder-Developer, Country Carpenters Inc., Pullman & Comley LLC, Bolton Veterinary Hospital, and Jacobs, Walker, Rice & Barry LLC.
Unless otherwise noted all concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. Please check the town website for updates and/or additions to the following schedule.

Wednesday, July 9 - Windham Concert Band
(concert begins at 7 p.m.)
The Windham Concert Band provides traditional music designed to entertain the whole family. A wide variety of literature is presented in each performance, including Broadway show tunes, marches, patriotic selections, folk songs, as well as classic and contemporary wind ensemble literature.

Wednesday, July 23 - Skyline Drive
Modern Country Music... a fun and dynamic, crowd-pleasing, modern country band presenting a broad range of down-home fare that includes new country, some classic country and their own catchy originals! Tight harmonies, driving rhythm, and instrumental prowess -- that's what sets this band apart and will make you sit up and take notice!

Wednesday, August 20 - Hebron Road
Our usual end-of-series concert... always a great time! Hebron Road features our very own Karan Bycholski, Tom Neilan, Chris Dougan and Dennis Sheridan.
