Disposing of Yard Debris

The town does NOT collect leaves curbside. If you rake your leaves to the curb, you MUST pick them up. Disposal options available to residents are to recycle them on your property or take them to the recycling center. The roads must be kept clear to avoid problems with drainage and snow plowing.

Old Telephone Books

In past years, SNET has provided a bin at Herrick Park during the months of February and March for the disposal of old telephone books. Call the selectmen's office at 649-8066 ext. 111 to ask about this year. Books are NOT acceptable in curbside recycling bins.

Christmas Trees

Reliable Refuse will not pick up Christmas trees with the weekly trash collection. An area of the parking lot at Herrick Park is roped off for tree disposal during the month of January.
