Regular Trash Pick Up
Holiday Schedule Changes
The town of Bolton no longer has free bulk pick up. A $10 sticker purchased from the selectmen's office must be placed on any non-metal bulk item put out for curbside collection. As with the previous policy, only one item can be put out per week. The non-metal bulk item is defined as any item that will not fit into a plastic garbage bag or can. Any item that meets this definition but does not have a sticker will not be picked up by the refuse company. Please contact the selectmen's office at 649-8066 x111 for more information.
Remember: You cannot put the following out with the regular trash, even with a $10 sticker: leaves, grass, sleeper sofa, demolition (construction and land-clearing debris), brick, masonry, sheetrock, fixtures (such as sink or toilet), materials associated with small home improvement projects (such as wood from deck). Take these items to the Residential Recycling Center. Clothing must be recyled at the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
